In 2019, Diana was the recipient of the inaugural Women Achievers of Arizona award in recognition of her leadership in the online therapy field.Diana has expertise as a seasoned speech-language pathologist and practitioner, as well as, a myriad of hands-on leadership experience, when it comes to problem solving within the teletherapy service delivery model (which is so relevant and needed in our current climate).

“I would be so incredibly honored to serve on the ASHA SIG 18 Committee. If I am lucky enough to be elected, I will be an avid and committed advocate and team educator for SLPs and practitioners to ensure that their voices are heard and visions communicated through dedicated and attentive leadership.” — Diana Parafiniuk, E-Therapy Founder and CMO

Before Diana started E-Therapy, she was a busy speech-language pathologist working in the field directly with exceptional children throughout the state of Arizona. While driving hundreds of miles to rural schools, to reach children who needed services, she quickly identified the need for SLPs to deliver therapy in a more scalable and effective way than the traditional onsite delivery model.Out of this awareness emerged E-Therapy, a company committed to reaching many children in need of Related Services. Her vision was not just for speech therapy, but also for OT, PT, Counseling, Behavioral therapy, assessments, diagnostics, and much more.Today, along with the E-Therapy team that she has built, she delivers special education Related Services across the country. Using telelearning technology and tools, coupled with an expert team of therapists from around the U.S., E-Therapy has an extensive reach that provides therapy to under-served children, schools, and school districts in need.A true pioneer in the teletherapy space, Diana offers a collaborative, yet, determined style – she is committed to seeing results and works hard to make sure those results are achieved. When considering how to vote this year for ASHA’s SIG 18 Telepractice, we hope you consider E-Therapy’s, Diana Parafiniuk. She is an innovator, leader, and pioneer, and who will use her quiver of skills to forward the cause of ASHA and the goals of its thriving community and members.
