March Activity Round Up

March Activity Round Up

The teletherapy experts at E-Therapy have been busy creating activities that will bring you extra SPRING in your step. We hope you feel like you found your POT OF GOLD with the variety of resources we are sharing for the month of March. Your students surely won’t tell you to GO FLY A KITE this month, but rather will say your sessions are a SLAM DUNK.

March Calendar of Activities

It’s happened! We’ve come full circle and March marks a full year since we started creating E-Therapy monthly “National Day” activity calendars. Our March “National Day” Activity Calendar has been updated for 2022 to ensure you have correct dates, current events, and links to help you celebrate all the special days March has to offer. As always, linked activities can be used in your therapy sessions or in your classroom and links may lead to hands-on activities, online games, or online stories and websites that revolve around the special day. Be sure to grab your free copy today.

Luck of the Irish Memory Game

Try your luck in the Luck of the Irish Memory Game! This open-ended PowerPoint game is a great activity for promoting descriptive language skills, asking and answering WH-Questions, and articulation practice. It is also an appropriate game for reinforcing group discussion and turn-taking skills. You must have PowerPoint to use this game. It will not work in Google Slides. If you are using the Drive link, it will open as a Google Slide file. From there, select the file tab and download as a PPT file to your computer. This game can also be played on an iPad using the PowerPoint app.

Let’s Fly a Kite WH Questions Game

Soar into spring! Our Let’s Fly a Kite WH Question Game Jamboard activity allows expressive and receptive use of WH questions in a game format.  Have your students generate WH questions using the words on the kites they land on or have them answer questions you provide using the WH question words on the kites. This activity has two remote sharing options or it can also be printed for use in a brick-and-mortar setting.  Get your copy now!

Lucky the Leprechaun Spot the Difference

Lucky is up to his shenanigans and tries to trick us with hiding differences in this fun and colorful spot the difference activity. See if your students can find all 10 differences in the  Lucky the Leprechaun Spot the Difference visual perception activity. This Jamboard activity can be used in all therapy settings. Good luck!

Fine Motor Skills Sheets

We couldn’t decide which event to feature for our OT fine motor activity this month, so …we gave you two!Option 1 is our Rainbow Color and Cut Fine Motor Skills Sheets. Print out the rainbow-themed sheets to practice coloring and scissor skills during onsite sessions or to send via email to print and use during remote sessions or for home practice. The sheets can also be used for tracing practice. Use screen sharing and give students mouse control to practice tracing skills using a mouse, finger, or digital pencil/stylus for remote sessions.Option 2, our March Madness Scissor Skills Sheets offer another opportunity to practice tracing and cutting skills with both onsite and remote options, but with these sheets students get to practice their all-star basketball skills and can even earn their own Slam Dunk Superstar certificate. Be sure to grab both of these fun and engaging OT activities today!

March Madness Movement Break Cards

Are you ready for a slam dunk session? Our March Madness Movement Break Cards come in PDF format and can be printed in grayscale or in color and can also be used via screen sharing during remote sessions.  In addition, these movement break cards can be used as a stand alone activity or can be used with a game board activity.
