A Reminder to Ourselves and Those We Care About
Expression of gratitude and appreciation, for those who work tirelessly in the field of education, is paramount. Currently, school communities are faced with many challenges and the dedication that educators and support staff bring to their roles is often under-appreciated. During these demanding times, those working in the educational fields need to be acknowledged in society for the hard work they put in.
Acknowledging the “why” and the “who” in our lives, as well as finding joy in the little moments, is a powerful reminder of the positive impact we can have on others; and the fulfillment that comes from making a difference. It’s encouraging to see recognition for the multifaceted roles that educators play, extending beyond traditional teaching – from providing essential therapy and related support services to being pillars of the community.
We see the sacrifice, grace, and strength demonstrated by educators; it paints a vivid picture of the profound commitment required to navigate the evolving landscape of education. The emphasis on creating safe spaces, ensuring access to crucial services, and fostering the development of well-rounded, kind individuals, reinforces the holistic nature of the educational mission.
Taking a moment to express gratitude is essential. Words serve as a heartfelt thank you to all those who contribute to the betterment of students’ lives – including service providers, therapists, and various specialists. JFK emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating those who make a difference when he said: “We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” As we know, those in education, whether in the past or present, truly make a difference in everyone’s lives.
We want to share a sincere message of gratitude and appreciation for the dedicated individuals who play a vital role in shaping the future through education. You give your all in service to others – we acknowledge your sacrifices and thank you for your dedication.
We wish you a kind and caring Thanksgiving.
